But why does lacrosse not so popular as four major sports in spite of rich and long its history? Why have been lacrosse played only for rich people?

I've played Lacrosse for one year and I have become adictied to it. It is the coolest sport I have played and seen. I live in the norther part of the US and there aren't very many clubs or teams to be a part of so I feel very lucky to be part of this game in my area |

Separate is not equal. There is no 'women's hockey, no 'women's basketball (remember, there used to be..) and no women's soccer. Womens rules were made up by the English based on field hockey. The notion that it is a 'more pure version' of the sport that adheres to the'original principals' is rubbish. The original version was rough. I predict it will take a discrimination based lawsuit to have the NCAA and the powers that be wake up, smell the coffee and unify the sport with one set of rules. Besides, ask any girl which version she'd rather play. Not the coaches, administrators, officials and equipment manufacturers. They have a vested interest in two separate systems. |

if ur looking for any info on lax start looking online for onodaga and try the onodaga red hawks website it tells how the native american game began i used it once. check out areas in canada (dont kno any specifically) and around syracuse ,new york and baltimore, maryland (the hot spots) |
